The fall of America is upon us
America is the Country to hate. You can see it almost everywhere you turn. Our former/current enemies are working either alone or together against America to bring her down in one way or another. America makes it easier for outsiders to come in and get higher education due to handouts from the government. Think about it, look at the number of foreign Dr’s now days. They come here get their education, spend the required time here and then head home with thousands of dollars that equal lifetime wages back home. China (Who backed North Vietnam AND North Korea) owns a significant portion of the US debt and is working with Russia for loans for oil and military equipment including their new superjet. The middle east terrorist organizations are dead set on killing Americans. Even some music artists that have made millions on American money are anti-American (See Gangnam style idiot and others). To top it all off Americans are distracted with so much inner fighting with minor issues (minor compared to a worldwide stage) that all of this is happening and the country is in a downward spiral as a world power. Americans are so arrogant, spoiled and lazy that morbid obesity and debt are a national epidemic. Americans complain about not making enough money. They think this because they live above their means. Americans have this sense of entitlement that the world or others “OWE” them something instead of working hard for what they need. America has become a country of wanters instead of needers. It’s now all about me, me, me and who can I stomp on to get it. Who NEEDS 3 cars, multiple kids, huge house and land for 5 people (because you definitely are too lazy to use the land for gardening and growing meat), jet ski’s, and many other extravagant items. Sure it’s more than ok to want these items but to put yourself into a situation that if you get sick or disabled (contrary to popular belief, laziness is not a disability) that someone can take everything you own? That’s just INSANE!! This is all an example that’s been and continues to be set by a spoiled little government who can’t control what they spend and makes it look as if it is ok! Americans have evolved into a disposable society that nothing anymore is quality made and will last through generations.
Now unless Americans and our country can get our shit together the fall of America is upon us. It is sickening and repulsive at what this country has become. We now are a people that look to find something wrong with everything done, whether it is a good deed or a bad one. It is now repulsive to discipline your children and teach them morals. You hear we are a “PASSIVE” family. That’s fine but in the mean time because you fail to discipline your kid you find excuses to the behavior and make an illness up for it. Feed them drugs instead making them be accountable for their actions. Your failure as a parent is evident in your children. Yes, once they become older they make their own decisions. That’s fine but a good foundation makes a strong house.
The fall of America is upon us and our time as a world power is coming to an end. It is inevitable unless we can wake up, bind together and be more humble in our lives instead of being over arrogant and spoiled little children who refuse to play well among each other. This attitude combined with a government that makes it easy for someone to not have to work is a huge cancer on a country and we are terminal right now. It is sad and disgusting at the same time because people are oblivious to this happening around them.
I don’t ask you to agree with me but take a moment and look around, not only at the country but at your own life. If you are living above your means then you are contributing to the cancer this country has. How much do you have that’s not needed that is not paid for? Don’t live above your means or live a self abusive lifestyle and blame someone else. Noone is forcing you to live like this except you and your arrogant, spoiled lazy self.
WAKE UP AMERICA……before it’s too late. It may already be……..
The Protector
I will die so you can live.
I do this because your life you CAN not or WILL not give.
I do this because it is my souls calling.
Only the ungrateful won’t shed a tear as my brothers and I are falling.
We will stand strong in the faceof the enemy and not budge.
Our actions are not for you to judge.
When your nightmares become real and you find there’s nothing you can do.
It is I “The Protector” that will stand between them and you.
This Ring
I sit here at the Convoy area waiting to go on the road.
Checking my equipment and making sure I have a full combat load.
Checks all done and waiting in line.
Each truck starts in turn, I’m waiting on mine.
Dangers are waiting on the road, who knows what we’ll see.
Rockets, VBIED’s, IED’s, I wonder what it will be.
Over the last few days you and I have talked about our love and what the future will bring.
I can’t wait for this tour to be over and one day kneel in front of you and ask you to have this ring.

Across the miles
Across the miles thinking of you.
I am wondering and anticipating life.
Soul on fire, heart is anew.
Wanting to make you my wife.
Some things still need to be done.
Anxiously waiting for the day we become one.
The day I return home
On the road the desert is like a sea.
Sand all around me as far as I can see.
For miles and miles, driving is what I do.
Wonder and anticipation for places I’ll see that are new.
There and back again I do roam.
Anxiously awaiting the day I return home.
Hills of WV
Sailed the seas I have done.
Battles lost and battles won.
Sometimes scared, sometimes mad.
Sometimes happy and sometimes sad.
My travels have made me wise.
But the hills of WV are always a welcome site for my aching
eyes.
Love is what I’ll feel
| You’re heavy on my mind and I cannot sleep. Heavy are my thoughts, I just want to weep. Months at a time I must go away. One day in your arms I hope to stay. These are things I am called to do. I hope and pray you can stay true. Being away from you the months seem to creep by. Sometimes I ask myself “You do this, why?” Then this tours end becomes real. And when I get home and see your face Love is what I’ll feel |
Eve of Battle
I stand at the edge of the field on the eve of battle.
Fear running through my veins and muscles so hard my bones begin to rattle.
I have the confidence in knowing that when the horns of battle let loose their
roar.
It will be to unleash ME………THE DOG OF WAR
Living with it when it’s over
As eighteen year old kids we started to train.
In the snow, mud and
rain.
Then one day a country was invaded.
Most of the world stood by as if
sedated.
We eighteen year old kids were now grown and trained well.
Little
did we know we were headed straight to Hell.
We fought like the “DEVIL DOGS”
we were.
Expelled the Iraqi army in a blur.
Not all came back who went
over,
But the hardest part of war is living with it when it’s
over.

Line Haul
Driving truck in the military is a thankless job.
When the townsfolk see us
coming they gather in a mob.
Some yell at us and some cheer.
Some look at
us with awe and some with fear.
They used to use snipers and landmines to take you out.
Now they use IED’S and EFP’s that will kill you with no
doubt.
We bring the infantry ammo, bandages and food to eat.
Without us
they would surely know defeat.
They look down on us because we drive while
they kick, fight and maul.
But for them to do what they do they depend on us,
those who drive the line haul.
